Arrival & Contact

Zermatt is car-free. The last part of the journey is by shuttle train or taxi. If you are arriving by car, you can park in Täsch, the nearest village with a direct train connection to Zermatt.
In Täsch, you’ll find several parking garages, including the Matterhorn Terminal Parking with direct access to the train. Trains of the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway run every 20 minutes and take you to Zermatt in about 12 minutes.

In Täsch, you have several parking options. The Matterhorn Terminal Täsch is particularly convenient and also offers charging stations for electric cars. From there, you take the shuttle train directly to Zermatt.
There are no public parking spaces in Zermatt itself. You can reach Hotel Carina on foot (about 10 minutes from the train station) or by electric taxi.

Zermatt is excellently connected to the Swiss railway network. From Visp or Brig, the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway brings you comfortably and regularly to the car-free resort. From Zermatt station, it takes around 10 minutes on foot to reach Hotel Carina.
If you have luggage or prefer a more relaxed arrival, you can take an electric taxi right in front of the station. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a luggage service for you on request – just let us know in advance.
